I’ve decided to add a few supplements to my diet. What does Oppo take?
I’m thinking:
Creatine: looking for the cognitive boost from increased ATP
Fish Oil
Vitamin D
ZMA
BCAA
Coq10
Does Oppo supplement?

So, I supplement myself with cancer.

I take Vitamin C (helps keep my voice going) and unholy amounts of cinnamon. Both combined with my 4 prescriptions seems to keep me from getting sick, from gaining too much weight, and keep up my energy.

A “hair, skin and nails” which does seem to make my nails and hair grow quicker. Maybe. It’s probably placebo effect.
A woman’s multi.
A “skin plumping” that is suppose to make my skin better and smother. I still get carded, so I’m going to pretend it does something.

you’re going to make a GNC very happy one day
I honestly just stick to protein powder and regular food per RP templates, powerade/gatorade to the tune of ~25g workout carbs, and the occasional preworkout if my ass is really dragging on my way to the gym.

Biotin, but I’m not as religious as I should be, if I want it to do anything.

I take:
Optimum opti-men, a joint supplement (Omega 3-6-9, G/C/MSM, Fish oil), creatine/arginine/BCAA and various protein powders.
How active are you? I don’t know if I would take creatine unless you were looking for a performance boost.

I get my vitamins and minerals from a well rounded diet. Supplements only do anything if you have a severe deficiency in your diet, and most contain way more of the nutrient than your body can possibly absorb. You just pee most of it away.

Creatine gave me the worst headaches even though I was drinking tons of water. But I take BCAA and PBAA. Beverly ultra 40 beef liver pills too. It could just be placebo but I feel like they help me recover quicker. I take vitamin d and fish oil too but just cause that’s supposedly healthy for you.

I’ve been taking creatine on and off since highschool. It’s been tested for over half a century and is a surefire way to increase energy (ATP) available to your muscles for short durations like during weight lifting. It won’t do anything for cognitive ability as it gets used by your muscles pretty quickly. You don’t need to load up on it, but make sure you take it with a very sugary but low acidity drink in order to aid in uptake. I’ll just stick a 5g scoop in my mouth and wash it down with a swig of fruit juice. Don’t bother trying to dissolve it in a glass. It works almost immediately. You’ll be able to pump out an extra few reps or get another set or two in before you’re wasted. You’ll only see a benefit if you push yourself to get extra reps/sets. Also, stay away from the Chinese made GNC crap. Try to find te good German made stuff.

Daily,
Creatine monohydrate 5g
L-citruline DL-Malate 2:1 4000 milligrams
Vitamin D 10,000 iu
Fish oil 1000mg (containing 300mg omega-3)
I’ll supplement with 200mg of caffeine daily a few weeks out of the year, then ditch the caffeine entirely. More just to burst through plateaus with the extra energy
Pure whey protein powder, amount varies from 30g worth of protein to 120g worth of protein a day depending on what my goals are
Fresh cinnamon and garlic are good for a number of things

maybe not what you’re looking for, but a fiber supplement has helped me greatly. Keeps things moving right along. That, and a whole bunch of water daily is all I seem to need.

I take 1.5 g
creatine hcl
and 5 g
beta alanine
before a workout.
Afterward I take 2 Optimum BCAA 1000 caplets , 2 Costco glucosamine/chondroitin tablets , a Walmart knockoff One-a-Day men’s multivitamin , and 5 g glutamine .
Creatine only helps cognition in
vegetarians & vegans who are otherwise creatine-deficient
. Creatine supplementation above that which is normally found in a meat-inclusive diet in omnivores helps with muscle building in response to exercise.
What is the purpose of these supplements? Are you vegetarian/vegan? Do you have some kind of exercise regimen where you will benefit from them?
